More Feeding Shots

  1. Are you letting her feed herself now? Are you trying to make things a bit more chunkier now? Cous cous is something you could mix into her purees but it's the messiest thing EVER!! Oh man, it goes everywhere! And rice! Little soup pastas is another carb you could add to purees for texture, and bigger pasta (like fusili, the spirals) are good finger food. Also cut-up banana, cheese, scrambled egg/cut-up omelette, stone fruit in season, roast sweet potato /pumpkin chunks. In the next few monnths, you can make things like zucini slice (that we used to have), which is soft and nutritious and perfect finger food. So much fun!

  3. That all sounds very virtuous ... but where are the chocolate buttons in all this ? - great finger food. I'll lay in a stock for when you are over. Ho ho ho

  4. Ha ha! My poor first-born was so deprived! No TV until she was two and I wouldn't even let her have any party food when we went to baby-group playdates, for fear it would ruin her appetite for lunch or dinner. Poor, poor Penelope! Kid No.2 and No.3 have benefited from my far more relaxed attitude these days!
